the East India company was very keen to have a puppet ruler in place of sirajuddaula .so that the enjoy trade concessions and other privileges .the began to help one of Siraj ud-daulah rivals become Nawab this is infuriated sirajudullah .he strongly asked Britishers to stop meddling in the political affairs of a state, after negotiations fail ,the Nawab marched with his soldiers to the English Factory at Kasim Bazar .they capture the company officials disarmed all English man and block English ships. then he March to Kolkata to establish control over the company for fourt four. as soon as the company officials in Madras heard the news of The Fall of Calcutta they sent forces under the command of Robert Clive prolonged negotiations took place but no concrete solutions came out finally in 1759 Robert Clive let the companies Army against sirajuddaula at Plassey in this battle Siraj ud-daulah got defeated the main reasons for that one of the Commander Mir Zafar did not find the battle he infact supported the company by not fighting because the company promised hymn to make Nawab after defeating sirajuddaula .
