The result of FDR's court-packing scheme:
After winning the 1936 elections by a huge landslide margin. Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed a 'bill' that’ll expand the 'membership of the Supreme Court'.
Roosevelt’s motive was very clear, he wanted shape the ideological balance of the court and that would result in striking down of the his new deal legislation. It was variedly criticised by the Congress and he lost huge political support for having even proposed it. This was FDR’S COURT PACKING plan.
