Ho Minh Chi was a revolutionary leader who later became the Prime Minister and President to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945. He was the most important leader during the Vietnam's struggle for Independence.

The following are his five key contribution:

- He founded the Indo-Chinese Communist Party in 1930

- He founded the League for the Indepedence of Viet Minh in 1941

- He helped many military actions against Japanese army which occupied   Vietna during World Ward II.

- He remained celibate and sacrificed his life for the Vietnam Independece.

- His revolution inspired many leaders in Asia, Africa and Latin America
