Hi !

The tax that non muslims had to pay is called as Jizya. It  is a special type of tax which is paid by Non Muslims, which in return their everything like life, property are guaranteed by the Government.  The minimum non-Muslim poll tax is one dinar (n: 4.235 grams of gold) per person, per year.
