Self satisfaction is the biggest thing. Money matters but then it is not the only thing desired. Patol Babu justifies this statement completely. He was unhappy by the little role assigned to him. Though he was promised a payment for the work, he was unhappy by the insignificant role he had to do. But then, he realised that no task is insignificant. It is his duty to perform the role with utmost sincerity. He practised for the role repeating it several times. This led him to give a brilliant performance. He heaved a sigh of relief on having justified his own standards of acting. For this reason perhaps, he got overpowered by the feeling of complete satisfaction and left for home without taking any payment.

:- what was twenty rupees when measured against the intense satisfaction of a small job done with perfection and dedication ?
:- For a true actor like Patol Babu, the intense satisfaction of a small job done with perfection and dedication is far above twenty rupees, that was a big value at that time.
Patol Babu initially considered his role as insignificant. But when he remembered the wrods of his mentor Gogon Pakrishi "Remember one thing Patol! However a small part you are offered, never consider it beneath your dignity to accept it."
These words of Patol Babu made him understand the significance of his small role of monosyllabic exclamation "Ohh".
Patol Babu put all his efforts into one shot. He practiced the scene in front of large glass window . He not only tried to speak " ohh" in different tones carrying different inflections but also counted his steps and made the collision go at perfect time.
The satisfaction that he got after his role too made him have a long breadth. The satisfaction of performing a small role with perfection and dedication make him move from shooting spot without receiving his pay .
