what way does a clinical thermometer different from an ordinary thermometer

ordinary thermometer means laboratory thermometer. clinical thermometer is used for measuring the temperature of body but laboratory thermometer is used to measure the temperature of chemicals how it is used in Chemistry lab. the boiling point of laboratory thermometer is 212 degree farenheight while the measuring unit of clinical thermometer is Celsius.
