What ways is the sludge obtained from a wastewater treatment plant used

Sludge means a semi-solid form of matter that settles down at the bottom after completion of the waste water treatment.

This sludge that has been obtained in the waste water treatment can be used as inoculums, a bacteria which helps in the decomposition of waste water that is coming next.
