(a+b)^2=a^2 + b^2 + 2ab

(a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2×a×b

so by algebraic expressions we can solve these type of questions

and we get(a+b)^2 =(a×a+a×b)+(b×a+b×b)=a^2+ab+ab+b^2=a^2+b^2+2ab
