martyrs' dreams are materializing with the completion of the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies held in course of the implementation of the constitution. During his address to a program organized by the Shahid Shukra Secondary School on the occasion of the 124th birth anniversary of martyr Shukra Raj Shastri here Friday, Pradhan insisted that now it was the responsibility of all to realize dreams of martyrs who had sacrificed their valuable lives for the welfare of the nation and people. On the occasion, the Minister inaugurated a new school building and launched the school's regular literary magazine ' Shrinkhala'. Various structures had been constructed in the commemoration of three great martyrs who had attained martyrdom while struggling against the autocratic Rana rule, he said underlining the need of establishing a hospital in the memory of Dharma Bhakta Mathema, one among the four great martyrs of Nepal. The Nepali Congress leader, who won the recent election to the House of Representatives from the Kathmandu-6, claimed that though the party faced unexpected defeat in the election, it had made the country victorious. He was of the opinion of promoting good governance and taking the country towards the path of economic development. Former speaker Damannath Dhungana said it would be real tributes to the martyrs provided that the Nepali people do contribute to realizing dreams for nation's development and prosperity. Kathmandu mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya advised the school to leave no stone unturned to prove the school best in competition with the private sector, pledging organizational support to schools coming out with good results. School management committee chair Hom Prasad Khadgi, Kathmandu deputy mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi, academician Dinesh Raj Panta and school principal Manju Tuladhar sought special attention from the State to promote academic institutes established in the commemoration of martyrs.
