The decomposition reaction :-
H2SO4 +CaCO3 ? CaCO3 + CO2 + H2O
1mol of sulphuric acid decomposes 1mol of calcium carbonate.
50g of calcium carbonate corresponds to 0.5mol of calcium carbonate.
Therefore,0.5mol of sulphuric acid is required to decompose 0.5mol of calcium carbonate.
0.5mol corresponds to 49g of H2SO4
As 60% of sulphuric acid is there, 60% of H2SO4 required =(100×49/60)g=81.67g
