What were Subhas Bose's thoughts when his father asked him to sit for the Indian Civil Service examination?

    Subhas Chandra Bose's father had asked him to write the Civil Services Examination.  

    But Bose was eager to work as a freedom fighter for India. He wanted to join the Freedom movement. On knowing this, his father criticized him, that he was avoiding the exam as he was afraid of passing the exam.

    So in order to prove his father wrong, Bose prepared hard for the exam and succeeded it.
