Answer:

Sher Shah ruled as the Emperor of Delhi only for a brief spell of five years. Yet he gave proof of his ability as an administrator and liberalism of his attitude. Sher Shah’s fame primarily rests on the reforms introduced by him in land and land-revenue. He thoroughly reorganized the land-revenue system in which great attention was paid to the rights and duties of the peasants.

His currency reforms included a copper coin called dam. Sher Shah also established excellent road system that helped trade and communication. Besides sarais (resting place), dak-chowkis (news-service) were also introduced by him. Though a pious Muslim Sher Shah was never a bigot. However, despite his liberal attitude some historians have pointed out that Sher Shah did not stop the practice of collecting fiziya from the non-Muslims.
