Consequences of majoritarian policies adopted by Sri Lankan Government were :
(a) Tamils considered that the government was not sympathetic about Tamil language and literature because of Sinhala was announced the formal language of Sri Lanka.
(b) Tamils felt separated and discriminated for securing jobs and education because they thought that much preference will be given to the Sinhala speakers.
(c) Tamils felt the administration was performing religious biasness because the State started encouraging Buddhism.
