hello

Their main demands were

a)Restoration of parliament-----

The reinstatement of parliament was a key demand of the seven-party alliance that has been leading weeks of pro-democracy protests in Nepal. The lower house holds real elected power under the country's constitution, while the upper house is largely symbolic.

b) Power to an all party government---
Powers were distributed among
all parties in Nepal.

c)New constituent assembly----
Appointed chairman of Nepal’s Election Commission in October 2006.A peace agreement between major political parties and Maoist rebels ended a 10-year conflict and set the stage for elections to a Constituent Assembly that would write a new constitution .

Heya.....

This popular movement in Nepal was done because the people of Nepal wanted to shaked the rule of King and to established democracy in their country....

Demands of people in the movement were....

** Formation of new Parliament....

The existing Parliament was in control of King's rule so it was the need to reconstruct the Parliament again in fever of social welfare...

** Set up new Constitution....

The Constitution gave all the powers to King in fact there were no mean of constitutional assembly so it was important to create the true Constitution....

** Fair election rules....

The shares of all parties in elections and fair election should demanded in that movement....

** Good luck !!!
