It was limited to particular class and didn't attracted the common masses.
It created a gulf or gap between the educated and uneducated as the former had usually adopted the western life-style.
It had a bad impact on traditional schooling system like Pathshala and Madrasa school system.

They promoted British cultures and set in the minds of children to help the British . If the children are studying ing British schools hindi and Marathi would not be taught. If the children are studying in British school the child’s parents would have not raised voice in the fear of their child being removed
