what were the difficulties faced by small farmers and tenants in India during British rule? please answer this question.

the British ruler was to collect more tax's and gives less money to the farmer and the people.
they use to give less comforts but collect more money from the comman people. they use to punish them who does not listen to them..

during British rule small farmer were forced for a special farming or harvest.they were not free to grow the plants according themselves..also the watering problem was a big problem,, British government takes a big part of their crop as a tax,,
