Some of these effects were –

❖ Youths, now played cards in the streets or queued up at the local employment exchange.

❖ Due to unemployment, youths now started criminal activities leading Germany into a crime city.

❖ Middle classes, especially pensioners were worried as their savings depreciated due to hyperinflation.

❖ Women were filled with despair as they were unable to fill their children's stomachs.

This explains, deep anxieties and fear in people.
