Print culture proved to be very useful for poor people in 19th century because they can buy these books as they were cheap and easy to get.

The ones who were illiterate , Other person could read them out the stories so that they can enjoy it so it acted as entertainment purpose also.

Well , in the 19th century in India , different - different public libraries were being established by Christians & the rich people and it's benefit was that who could not read, could listen to stories and folklore and these could be read out to them by others.

People could also hire books at a nominal cost from the respective owners. Writings on Class Distinction were generally read by all in our country India.
