Hey mate
Birsa talked of a Golden age- a satyug(age of truth)- when Mundas lived a good life, constructed embankments, tapped natural springs, planted trees and orchards, practised jhum cultivation to earn their living. They didn't kill their brethren and relatives. They lived honestly. Birsa also wanted people to once again work on their land, settle down and cultivate their fields.
The vision of a golden age was appealing to the Munda people because they had suffered by the colonial rule and their ancestral rights of the community should be restored.
