the narrator was flying his old Dakota over France to England .he was flying on a holiday . the writer checked everything in the plane and found them to be all right . it was evening flight and everything was going well . suddenly strong clouds gathered in the sky . the narrator did not have enough fuel to fly up over them .so he took the risk and flew the plane inside the storm . everything suddenly become black. the writer saw that his compass was not working and the other instruments also become dead. the narrator was in deep trouble . he saw another aeroplane with no light on it wings .the aeroplane was flying beside the writer plane and he could see the pilots face who waved at him . the pilot turned to the north and flew in front of the narrator plane .so that the narrator could follow him . the other plane began to descend and he followed him. the narrator found himself out of the clouds and saw the runway in front of him. he was very happy. this was the feelings of the narrator.
