What were the limitations of Newland's law of octave...??

it was found that it was only applicable up to calcium several new elements were discovered who's properties did not fit into the law of octave

limitations are
1) it was applicable to the classification of elements upto calcium only or only wotked with lighter elements
2)Newland assumed that onky 56 elements existed in nature and no more would be discovered in the future
3)in order to fit elements into his table, he put even 2 elements together in one slot of column having very different prop.
4) iron,nickle & cobalt should be placed in same column but were placed far away
