*the law of octaves was applicable only up to calcium.
*newlands assumed only 56 elements was existed in nature and no element discover in future.But later on several new element was discovered whose properties did not fit in the law of octaves.
*In his table, newlands adjusted in the same slot, but also put some unlike elements under the same slot like cobalt and nikel..
Newland octaves worked well with lighter element only
