Two elements are placed together.
Ex :- Co & Ni.
*Elements reassembling in the chemical properties were kept a far in some places.
Ex :- Fe and Co & Ni.

Newland Octave is the theory which was proposed by John Newland. He stated that the property of first elememt is similar to the 8 element of the same period.

Ex. Na property are similar to the property of Ar.

His theory failed when Mendeleev put forth Mendeleev Periodic Table. At his time, there were 56 elements discovered he arranged them in the order of their increasing atomic masses. Where Mendeleev leave some space for elements that will discover in future.

Ex. Eka Boron.

Thus, by this Newland's theory failed.
