Answer:

The causes of the French Revolution can be attributed to several intertwining factors:

Cultural: The Enlightenment philosophy desacralized the authority of the monarchy and the Catholic Church, and promoted a new society based on reason instead of traditions.

Social: The emergence of an influential bourgeoisie which was formally part of the Third Estate (commoners) but had evolved into a caste with its own agenda and aspired to political equality with the clergy(First Estate) and the aristocracy (Second Estate).

Answer:

the main causes that led to French Revolution in 1789 was

* that the people is 3rd estate wanted power.

*the people of 3rd estate were not given enough land. almost all the land was with the other two estate irrespective of the fact that 3rd estate had more people

* the people of 3rd estate were forcefully asked to work for the 1st and 2nd estate.

* they were also forced by the other two estate to pay taxes to them.

* even in the estate general ( the meeting in which the discussion of increase of tax was there) meeting when the 3rd estate got their demand they were neglected.

* the 3rd estate knew that if the tax will be increased there will be a lot of problems that they will face. (only they paid tax)

because of this the revolution was started
