1.In this movement the general masses broke the salt laws and made Salt from sea water which was forbidden by law.
2.They made salt and demonstrated in front of salt factory to show their support for National freedom.
3. Formal clothes were boycotted, liquor shops were picketed and people violated the government laws at different places.
4. Peasants refuse to pay the land revenue, village officials resigned from their jobs and people violated forest law on a large scale.
