The main objectives of National Assembly were-
1. The king would not have all the power.
The power would be assigned to different institutions- the executive, legislature and judiciary.
2.The national Assembly had the power to make law which was indirectly elected by the citizens.
3.Only men above 25 years who paid taxes equal to at least 3 days of a labourer's wage.
4.The remaining men and all women were classed as passive citizens.
