THE OBBJECTIVE OF LIFE IS TO MERGE WITH GOD.

GOD CAN BE REALIZED BY TRUE WORSHIP.

ALL MEN ARE BORN EQUAL.

CASTE AND DISTINCTIONS MUST BE ABOLISHED.

FOR THE REALISATION OF GOD, PILGRIMAGES AND IDOL WORSHIP ARE NOT NEEDED.

NAME OF GOD SHOULD BE REPEATED.

AND THERE ARE MANY MORE IF YOU WANT MORE THAN TELL.

  1. guru nanak emphasised teh importance of the worship bof one God
  2. he insisted that caste ,creed or gender was irreverent for attaining liberation
  3. in his opinion liberation was not the state of inert bliss.but rather the pursuit of active life with a strong sense of social commitment
  4. he emphasized right worship ,welfare of other and purity of conduct
  5. guru nanak idea of equality had social and political implications
