1.Britishers got a new idea of earning by cash crops so they appointed many farmers for the cultivation of cash crops like tea, coffee, spices etc.
2. A large proportion of cotton export to British mill was fulfilled by India so there was a large area under cultivation of cotton.
3. Crops like Indigo and Opium were also in demand in the foreign market that is farming of these crops increased during colonial rule.
