KARACHI - Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the Sindh government has taken many steps to improve education in the province. He said while talking to a delegation of Joins Hands a NGO. Secretary Education Schools Iqbal Hussain Durrani, Head of Curriculum Wing Dr Fouzia Khan, Shaheen Air Chairman Kashif Sehbai and Shaheen Air Director Sabrina Sehbai were also present on the occasion.

The delegation informed the minister for education that they wanted to create awareness in the fields of wildlife, environment and interested to make children socially aware because they have found incredible opportunities in these sectors.

They also showed their interest in converting many unattained parks into wildlife parks. The minister assured the delegates his full cooperation and said that Sindh education department would sign a MoU in this regard.

They also suggested to include some lessons in the syllabus of the primary classes. The secretary education assured that as soon as the department got the contents, it would be reviewed and appropriate steps would be taken to materialise it if found suitable.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Join Hands, an NGO working in various fields including education, according to a press release. “For the given purpose, we have also taken well-reputed NGOs on board,” he said on the occasion.

Schools Secretary Iqbal Durrani, Curriculum Wing Head Dr Fouzia Khan, Shaheen Airlines Chairman Kashif Sehbai and Director Sabrina Sehbai were also present on the occasion.

The members of the delegation informed the minister that they wanted to create awareness in the fields of animals’ rights, wildlife and environment and were also interested to make children socially aware because they have found incredible opportunities in these sectors.

They also showed their interest in converting many unattained parks into wildlife parks. Over this, Jam Mehtab assured the delegates his full cooperation and said that the Sindh education department would also sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard.

The members of the delegation suggested including some lessons in the syllabus of the primary classes. Iqbal Durrani assured that as soon as the department would get the the content, it would be reviewed and appropriate steps would be taken to materialize it, if found suitable.

He informed them about good performance of Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) and asked them to visit the schools functioning under SEF. The minister said that it is need of the hour that we work together to give better opportunities for life and education to the children of Sindh.
