Effects of Rat Hunt:
*French started Rat Hunt movement, where a certain bounty was paid to one who killed rats(showed tail of Rat as a proof).
*Vietnamese realized that this was a way of making a profit by killing rats and by negotiating high amount of bounty by coming Vietnamese all together to do this dirty work.
*So in order to get profit, people(Vietnamese) used to clip the tails of rats by not killing them ,so that the process could be repeated.
