Dr. Kalam, the great visionary envisaged three visions which are:

1. Vision of Freedom : According to him this vision was first seen in 1857 and we got freedom after long struggle. It is this freedom that we need to murture and maintain if we want to be respected.

2. His second vision is that of development. For fifty years after independence India has remained a developing country in spite of the fact that it is one of the first five countries with highest GDP. He wanted to see India as a developed nation which can only materialize if we have self-confidence, self-reliance and self-assurance.

3. Lastly he wished that India stands up to the world as strength begets strength. If we are strong we would be respected and honored. He wanted that we should not only be strong in military but economy also.

As a responsible citizen we can contribute towards his vision and lend a helping hand by first selecting right candidates to form our government and exercise our rights that democracy gives us. We should be righteous and try to eliminate corruption from our system, only then we can enjoy our freedom and stand on to our being.
