‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ is an amazing tale of two women in war-torn Kabul, Afghanistan. It is part fact, part fiction, written by Khaled Hosseini (born 1965).

His very graceful style of writing captures the tender moments of the story and at the same time records the most violent of crimes committed against humanity, especially against the women of Afghanistan.
