What wil happen if the secretion of parietal cells of gastric glands is blocked with an inhibitor ?

If parietal cells are not secreted then proteins will not be adequately hydrolysed by pepsin into proteoses and peptones.

This is because pro enzyme pepsinogen gets converted to active pepsin in presence of HCl.
