what will be current across shorted wire.as I=V/R here V=0 and R has small value as it's a wire

The current will be very high and the circuit will melt and behave like a open circuit.

see it is true that the current is zero.
if the current is 0 it starts acting as a open circuit
it will no more be a closed circuit
open and short circuits are different i think

my question was on short..so how can be it not close?
short circuits are first closed circuits but as the wire melts it becomes an open circuit
