Here is a trick:
Take the century part of the year. Divide it by 4 and find the remainder. Refer the table below on left is the remainder on right is the century code (C.C). Here is the table:
REMAINDER C.C
0 6
1 4
2 2
3 0
For example if the date is 2050. Century part is 20, divide it by 4 to get remainder as 0. From above C.C is 6.
Now take the year part of the question add it to quarter of it. Avoid the decimal part Find the remainder while dividing the result by 7, is the year code (Y.C).
For example if the year is 2050, year part is 50. Add its quarter to it, 50+50/4 = 50+12=62 (decimal is not necessary). Divide it by 7 and find the remainder, here it is 6 . So Y.C is 6.
Now remember this table.
January = 0
February = 3
March = 3
April = 6
May = 1
June = 4
July = 6
August = 2
September = 5
October = 0
November = 3
December = 5
Now, 2050 is not a leap year. So no need to worry about that.
day number = Remainder of (C.C + Y.C + M.C +DATE) divided by 7.
0 = Sunday
1 = Monday
2 = Tuesday
3 = Wednesday
4 = Thursday
5 = Friday
6 = Saturday
(6+6+0+7)÷7
Remainder would be 5. So,your birthday in 2050 will fall on Friday!
