power = V^2/R
1000 = (220)^2/R
so R = 48400/1000
R = 48.4 ohm
and V = IR
and I(current) = 220/48.4 = 4.54 Ampere
2nd method
P = VI
so I = P/V = 1000/220 = 4.54 Ampere
