Nothing changes except the sign of acceleration. The formula for force is
F=ma
It will be the same formula for negative acceleration because when you are multiplying mass and acceleration, youll obviously put minus sign before acceleration.

it's easy ya no changes will be there except sign....
for ex...find the force if m=6kg,a=-4 m/s^2
F=ma
F= 6 × (-4)
F= (-24)N
is the answer
