What will be the length of a rod which is made of 11*8*2 inches of solid ice and the diameter of the rod is that of 4 inches?

We know,
Volume of ice block (cuboid) = l * b * h
= 11 * 8 * 2
= 176 inches
r -> radius , h -> height/length
we know,
Volume of rod (cylinder) = π * r^2 * h
= 22/7 * 4^2 * h
= 352 * h /7
Volume of rod = Volume of ice block
=> 352 * h /7 = 176
=> h = 176 * 7 / 352
=> h = 3.5 inches
