Sum of angles of a triangle = 180
Let the 3 angles be x,y,z
x+y+z=180
let angle x be 90 and as it is an isosceles triangle so y is equal to z.
90+y+z=180
As z is equal to y so we can replace it with y.
90+y+y=180
90+2y=180
2y=180-90
2y=90
y=90÷2
y=45
as y and z were equal so,
y=z=45
