Answer: One end of the solenoid becomes the N-pole and other end becomes the S-pole. Considering on end of the solenoid, if the circular face of the current flows in the anticlockwise direction, the that end becomes the N-pole and if the current flows in the clockwise direction, the that end becomes the S-pole.
