The total pressure exerted by the mixture is  P + P" = 1.80 bar

Explanation:

The partial pressure of hydrogen gas:

P' = PV / V' = 0.8 x 0.5 / 1 = 0.40 bar

The partial pressure of oxygen gas:

P" =PV / V' = 0.7 x 2.0 / 1 = 1.40 bar

So, the total pressure of gaseous mixture is P + P" =   0.40 bar + 1.40 bar

P + P" = 1.80 bar

Thus the total pressure exerted by the mixture is  P + P" = 1.80 bar
