Rs50 and it is asked to find the price of petrol after 12% hike

for finding the answer simply  find the percentage of percent

petrol price to 12%

hence

$50\times12\div100\\=6$

so price of petrol = old rate + hike rate

      price of petrol =50+6

                               =56Rs
