Amount = Prinncipal + SI

=> 6000 = Principal + 350

Hence Principal =  6000 - 350 = 5650

Given  : SI  is Rs 350  , Amount is Rs 6000

To Find : Principal

Solution:

Principal  = P  Rs

SI = Simple Interest = Rs 350

Amount = A  = Rs 6000

Amount = Principal   +  Simple Interest

A = P + SI

=> 6000 = P + 350

=> P = 6000 - 350

=> P = 5650

Hence Principal is Rs 5650

Additional Info:

SI = P * R * T/100

R = rate of interest

T = Time
