Answer:

If connected in series add them

Total resistance = 3+3+3+3 = 12 ohm

If connected in parallel and if R is total resistance then:

1/R = 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 4/3

R = 3/4

\huge {\underline{\green{Given:-}}}

  • Resistance of Each Resistor is same

  • Total Number of Resistor = 4

  • R1 = 3 Ω
  • R2 = 3 Ω
  • R3 = 3Ω
  • R4 = 3Ω

\huge {\underline{\pink{To Find:-}}}

  • Total Resistance ,Req

\huge {\underline{\blue{Solution:-}}}

As we know that the Equivalent Resistance in series is the sum of given individual resistance .

• Req = R1 + R2 + R3 + R3

Substitute the value we get

→ Req = 3 Ω + 3 Ω + 3 Ω + 3 Ω

→ Req = 12 Ω

Therefore, the total resistance in series is 12 ohms.

\huge {\underline{\green{Additional\ Information!!}}}

• The flow of charge is called current.

• The charge passing per unit time through a given place is the magnitude of electric current at that place.

• SI unit of current is Ampere (A).

• If one coulomb of charge passing through a place in one second, then the current is said to be one ampere.

Mathematical term

• I = \frac{Q}{t}

here,

I is the current

Q is the charge

t is the time.
