arhaanjha: 2R in Chaldean Numerology or Pythagorean Numerology
Genius2208: 2 R means 2 times the radius of earth
arhaanjha: Ok thanks!
arhaanjha: Gravity at 2R height from the surface of the earth is one ninth of surface gravity. I will take time to do the working...
arhaanjha: cause i did it in my diary...
Genius2208: okk time is urs and answer is mine. take ur time and answer i m waiting for ur ans

Hello friend,

Value of acceleration due to gravity at height comparable with radius of earth can be told to us by-

(g is gravity)

g' = g(R/(R+h))^2

In problem h is 2R

g' = g(R/3R)^2 = g/9

= 1/9 is the value of acceleration due to gravity at a height of 2R from the surface of the earth.

Hope it helps!!!

we know ,

acceleration due to gravity depends upon height ' h '
g' = g°/( 1 + h/R)²

where R is the radius of earth , h is the height from the earth surface . and g° is acceleration due to geavtiy in earth surface .

g' = g°/( 1 + 2R/R)²
= g°/(1 +2)²
=g°/9

hence, acceleration due to gravity at height 2R , will be 1/9th of acceleration due to gravity in earth surface .
