Hey buddy
here's the answer

work done
= mgh
= 2 × 10 × 0.1
= 2 joules

Here, in this case, the work done will be equal to the potential energy of the stone.

Given, mass (m) = 2 kg
height to which it is raised (h) = 10 cm = 0.1 m
acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s²

So, Work done = mgh
= (2×9.8×0.1) J
= 1.96 J [Answer]

We can also take g=10m/s².
Doing so, work done will be (2×0.1×10) = 2 J [Answer].
