If displacement of an object is perpendicular to the direction of force than work done is given by cos90 which is equal to zero...this no work is done in this case

w = f.s \:  \cos( \alpha )

since ,

 \alpha  =  \: 90 \\  \\ \cos(90)  = 0

✔️so , work done will be 0
