What will be the work done if the displacement perpendicular to the direction of force

work done = force × displacement × cos(theta)


so if displacement is perpendicular to force ....that means angle would be 90 degree ...

and cos 90 = 0


hence the work done would become zero
i. e .
work done = force × displacement × 0
= 0

Work Done = F × S × cos(theta)

Since the angle is 90°

work done
= F×S× cos90°
= F × S × 0
= 0
