What will be the young's modulus of the materail of the wire if a wire increases by 10^-3 of its length when a stress of 1×10^8 N/m2 is applied to it?

stress cannot be applied. assuming that you mean to say that stress was generated.

young's modulus = Stress / Strain

and the young's modulus can not be calculated cause the data provided by you is insufficient. assuming is length is Lm and it is increased by 10^-3m.

strain = (10^-3)/L

and calculate young's modulus by putting value

young's modulus = (10^10 * L) N/m2
