what will hapen to the area of rectangle ,if its length is doublef and breadthis tripled

l = 2x , b= 3x
A = l* b
= 2x *3x
= 6x
area of rectangle becomes 6 times

A=l×b..
since it is asked to double and triple the length and breadth respectively
A=2(l)×3(b)
= 2l×3b
